Sara is a licensed psychotherapist in New Jersey, New York and Connecticut. This means Sara is Licensed to treat individuals who live in NJ, NY, and CT. As a certified Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP) and Assistant at Somatic Experiencing (SE) trainings, Sara integrates awareness of the body and sensations into her psychotherapy practice and guides clients through simple practices to regain control of their nervous systems. Chosing to work with Sara means you will embark on a journey toward awareness of strength, freedom and resilience. This type of work extends beyond traditional talk therapy. The body keeps the score; we know that the mind and body are not separate and that deep healing occurs when we listen to the body. Certified Somatic Touch Skills Practitioner. Completion of three 6-day progressive modules on developing tactile skills, somatic awareness, and other touch-related skills in the context of working with the resolution of traumatic stress symptoms.
